Baeza (4-1)
Much like Sovereignty, Baeza is well-rested having not competed since the Kentucky Derby a month ago. The John Shirreffs horse placed third in the Derby, and also had a strong showing in the Santa Anita Derby, finishing second. The feeling surrounding Baeza is that he is peaking at the right time as he has shown solid improvement over the past few months. He was sired by McKinzie out of the Big Brown mare, Puca.
