Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 10 points on 11 shot attempts in 33 minutes during Monday’s loss to the Pistons. That simply can’t happen, and New York needs to do a better job of feeding him touches after Towns finished with only 35 in Game 2.
That should be a significant part of the game plan, particularly if New York head coach Tom Thibodeau wants to keep his job. Any parlay must start with KAT scoring at least 20 points, as his standard points prop is as high as 22.5 at our best NBA betting sites.
Towns scored 23 points in Game 1. He’s averaged 21 points in five head-to-head meetings with Detroit this year. I like his chances of getting to 20 on Thursday.

New York point guard Jalen Brunson must do a better job of getting KAT and others involved in the offense. He dished out seven assists in Game 2, but the offense felt overly dependent on him and his gifting in the second half.
Despite the offense being stagnant, Brunson has still recorded 15 assists through two games. He’s dished at least six dimes in 72% of his contests this year, so I’m adding this alternate line to the SGP.
Plugging in the Knicks’ moneyline to the first two legs boosts this parlay from -109 to +203.

Josh Hart averaged 9.6 rebounds per game during the regular season, but he’s collected 14 boards through two games. That’s because the Pistons can match his gritiness on the glass.
Hart only cleared 9.5 rebounds once across five head-to-head meetings against Detroit. He's logged a 30% hit rate on this prop against the Pistons throughout his career.
I’ll add the Under as the final leg of this parlay, though tossing in New York’s moneyline value would bring the payout to +469.
