The Los Angeles Lakers are in a pickle, having already dropped one of their home NBA playoff games against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Now, they face a potential 3-1 deficit ahead of today's Game 4. Our Lakers vs. Timberwolves parlay picks and predictions focus on Anthony Edwards, Dorian Finney-Smith, and LeBron James.

Our top Lakers vs. Timberwolves player prop today is James to go Over 5.5 assists, so we’re teasing that number up slightly for this NBA SGP. James is +300 to tally eight assists, something he is yet to do this series, but came just one assist short of doing in Game 2.

The logic here stems from volume. Through three games, James leads the Lakers in passes made (52.7) but is second in both potential assists (8.7) and actual assists (4.7). Further, after the All-Star break, James averaged more passes (53.5), potential assists (11.9), and actual assists (6.5).
